Power Steering Line/Hose: Description and Operation

The power steering pressure and return hose at the power steering pump uses O-ring seals at the quick connect fittings. Note that there are two possible leak points at the steering gear fittings:
^ between the power steering pressure hose or power steering return hose and the hose nut
^ Between the hose nut and the cast iron steering gear housing or power steering pressure, return and pump outlet line connector.
