Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to the charges, damage may result.

NOTE: The anti-lock brake control module is located under the passenger seat.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Loosen the anti-lock brake control module electrical connector bolt.
3. Remove the electrical connector.
4. Remove the three anti-rock brake control module bolts.
5. Remove the anti-lock brake control module.

INSTALLATION - To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
^ Tighten mounting bolts to 7-10 Nm (61-86 inch lbs.)
^ Tighten connector bolt to 6-7 Nm (53-61 inch lbs.)
^ Tighten battery bolt to 7-10 Nm (61-86 inch lbs.)
