Special Tool

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Disconnect the heater temperature cable.
a. Unlock the heater temperature cable by pulling down the tab.
b. Disconnect the heater temperature cable while holding the tab down.

NOTE: Rotate the temperature control switch to the cold position.





3. Use Radio Removing Tool T87P-19O61-A to pull the Integrated Control Panel (ICP) out of the instrument panel.





4. Disconnect the radio antenna lead in cable and the electrical connectors and remove the ICP.





5. Remove the climate control selector knobs.





6. Disconnect the heater blower motor switch electrical connector.





7. Remove the screw and the heater blower motor switch.





8. Remove the screw and the temperature control switch with the heater temperature cable attached.





9. Disconnect the two function selector switch electrical connectors.





10. Remove the function selector switch.

INSTALLATION





1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
