Ignition Timing Connector: Description and Operation

Octane Adjustment (OCT ADJ) Shorting Bar:





The Octane Adjust (OCT ADJ) shorting bar will typically retard spark timing three degrees when removed from the connector. The OCT ADJ self test is to check the state of the OCT ADJ shorting bar.
