Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the A/C compressor.
1 Remove the A/C compressor bolts.
2 Remove the A/C compressor and position aside.

NOTE: Do not remove lines from the A/C compressor.





5. Remove the (A) CKP sensor bolt and the (B) CKP sensor.

INSTALLATION





To install, reverse the removal procedure.
