Captain's Chair

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the captain's chair or 40% seat.
2. Remove the seat regulator control switch.
3. Remove the armrest.
4. Remove the front seat safety belt buckle.
5. Remove the lumbar adjuster knob.






6. Remove the front seat back pad adjuster.
1. Remove the two screws.
2. Remove the front seat back pad adjuster.






7. Remove the LH front seat adjuster from the front seat cushion frame.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the front seat adjuster.

NOTE: Do not damage the plastic pivot bushing when removing the seat back frame.






8. Pull the front seat back frame away from the RH front seat hinge and feed the lumbar support gear through the seat cushion opening to remove the front seat back.






9. Unfasten the front seat back cover retainer.
10. Pull the cover away from the hook and loop attachments.






11. Unfasten the front seat back hook and loop near the head-rest portion of the seat back and remove the front seat back cover.






12. Remove the front seat back from the front seat back frame.






13. Remove the LH front seat adjuster.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the LH front seat adjuster.






14. Remove the two front seat riser supports.
1. Remove the nuts.
2. Remove the front seat riser supports and the riser bracket.






15. Remove the front seat tracks.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the front seat tracks.

NOTE: The front seat tracks are replaced as an assembly.






16. Remove the manual seat track release bar.
1. Drill out the rivet.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Remove the manual seat track release bar.






17. Unfasten the four front seat cushion cover retainers.
18. Remove the six hog rings and remove the front seat cushion cover.






19. Remove the front seat cushion pad pushpins.






20. Remove the front seat cushion pad from the front seat cushion frame.

ASSEMBLY






1. Insert the front seat cushion pad into the front seat cushion frame.






2. Install the front seat cushion pad pushpins.
3. Position the front seat cushion cover and install listing wires and hog rings.






4. Fasten the four seat cushion cover retainers.






5. Install the manual seat track release bar.
1. Position the manual seat track release bar to front seat track.
2. Install the bolts and one rivet.






6. Install the front seat tracks.
1. Position the front seat tracks.
2. Install the bolts.






7. Install the front seat riser supports.
1. Position the front seat riser supports and the riser bracket.
2. Install the nuts.

NOTE: Inspect the seat riser supports and verify that plastic isolators are in place.






8. Install the LH front seat adjuster.
1. Position the LH front seat adjuster.
2. Install the bolts.






9. Insert the front seat back pad into the front seat back frame.
10. Position the front seat back cover and install the five hog rings.






11. Fasten the front seat back hook and loop near the head-rest portion of the seat back.






12. Fasten the front seat back cover retainer.






13. Feed the lumbar support gear through the seat cushion opening and push the seat back frame into the front seat hinge.

NOTE: Inspect the seat back pivot bushing and replace if damaged.






14. Connect the LH front seat hinge to the front seat cushion frame.
1. Position the front seat hinge.
2. Install the bolts.






15. Install the front seat back pad adjuster.
1. Position the front seat back pad adjuster.
2. Install the two screws.
16. Install the lumbar adjuster knob.
17. Install the front seat safety belt buckle.
18. Install the armrest.
19. Install the seat regulator control switch and front seat track shield.
20. Install the captain's chair or 40% seat.
