Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the multi-function switch.
2. Visually inspect the following for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage:
^ Damaged multi-function switch
^ Blown fuse(s)
^ Damaged ignition switch
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded

3. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart.
