E3 CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) AND ANTI-LOCK ELECTRONIC MODULE

- Key "off."

- Disconnect hydraulic control unit connector C190.

- Install EEC IV 60-Pin Breakout Box, leave anti-lock electronic control module disconnected. Ensure the correct overlay is used.

- Measure the resistance between:

DTC Connectors
C1194 HCU C190-7 (O) and Breakout Box pin 26.
C1198 HCU C190-6 (T) and Breakout Box pin 40.
C1202 HCU C190-3 (T/R) and Breakout Box pin 27.
C1206 HCU C190-2 (GY/BK) and Breakout Box pin 33.
C1210 HCU C190-5 (PK) and Breakout Box pin 15.
C1214 HCU C190-8 (W) and Breakout Box pin 34.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

> Yes
Go to Pinpoint Test E4. E4

> No
Repair appropriate circuit. Perform Pinpoint Test E7.E7
