M1 SWITCH CHECK, DEFAULT G-SWITCH POSITION

- Key "off."

- Disconnect G-Switch connector C101.

- Inspect the harness connector and G-Switch connector for water or terminal corrosion.

- Place the G-Switch on a level surface.

Measuring Resistance Between G-switch Terminal 1 And 3, And Between 2 And 3:

- Measure the resistance between G-switch terminals 1 and 3; and between terminals 2 and 3.

- Is the resistance 5 ohms or less for both tests?

> Yes
Go to Pinpoint Test M2. M2

> No
Replace the G-switch. Perform Pinpoint Test M11. M11
