K1 TEST BRAKE PEDAL LINKAGE

- NOTE: When removing the brake on/off (BOO) switch retain the spacers and hairpin clip, they will be required for installation. Also, note the position of the spacers as they need to be installed exactly as they came out for proper BOO switch operation.

Disconnect the brake master cylinder push rod.
- Disconnect the BOO switch electrical connector.
- Remove the hairpin clip.
- Separate the BOO switch and the brake master cylinder pushrod from the brake pedal support.

- Depress the brake pedal fully.

- Has the condition corrected?
2G> Yes
Connect the BOO switch and brake master cylinder push rod to the brake pedal support. Perform Pinpoint Test K2. K2

> No
Repair or replace the brake pedal linkage. Service and Repair
