Inspection and Verification

INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system in question.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage:
^ Damaged wiring harness.
^ Loose or corroded connections.
^ Damaged anti-lock brake control module.
^ Damaged Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module.
^ Damaged GEM.
^ Damaged air bag diagnostic monitor.
^ Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

3. If the concern is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the System Precheck. System Precheck
