S3 CHECK FOR UNWARRANTED ABS ACTIVITY

NOTE: Stopping should be performed on dry pavement.

NOTE: Windshield wipers should be turned off during this test.

- Drive at approximately 32 kph (20 mph).

- Perform a normal traffic stop.

- Feel for pulsation in the brake pedal during the stop and within 10 seconds after the vehicle has come to a stop.

- Is there any pulsation in the brake pedal at any time during the stop or within 10 seconds after the vehicle has stopped?

> Yes
Go to Symptom Chart for unwarranted RABS activity.

> No

If yellow ABS warning indicator lamp is not on, go to Pinpoint Test S4. S4
