D2 CHECK BRAKE PEDAL PIVOT

- Key "OFF".

Brake Master Cylinder Push Rod:

- Disconnect the brake master cylinder push rod. (1) Remove the self-locking pin. (2) separate the brake on-off (BOO) switch from the brake master cylinder push rod.

- Operate the brake pedal.

- Is excessive effort required to operate the brake pedal?

> Yes
Repair or replace the brake pedal and bracket assembly. Test the system for normal operation.

> No
Reconnect the brake master cylinder push rod. Check the Power Brake Booster. Power Brake Assist
