Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system in question.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

Visual Inspection Chart

Electrical
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Damaged 4WABS module
- Damaged Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module
- Damaged GEM
- Damaged air bag diagnostic monitor
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

3. If the concern is not visually evident, perform the System Precheck.
