Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
1 Disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
2 Remove the (A) CKP sensor shield nuts and the (B) CKP sensor shield.
3 Remove the (C) CKP sensor bolts and the (D) CKP sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Install crankshaft position sensor.
1 Position the CKP sensor.
2 Install the bolts.
3 Position the shield.
4 Install the shield nuts.
5 Connect the electrical connector.
