With CTM Module

1. The wiper/washer system is a Generic Electronic Module (GEM)/Central Timer Module (CTM) controlled system.
2. Verify the customer concern by operating the wipe/washer system.
3. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged hoses to windshield washer pump
^ Damaged wiper/washer switch
^ Damaged wiper linkage

Electrical
^ Blown fuse(s)
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded connector(s)
^ Circuitry open/shorted
^ Damaged bulb(s)

4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
