Radiator Cap: Description and Operation

The radiator cap:
^ Seals the cooling system.
^ Relieves excess pressure in the cooling system.
^ Provides an increase in pressure to increase coolant boiling temperature to prevent overheating.
^ Is mounted on the radiator coolant recovery reservoir.
