Four Wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (4WABS)
P2 CHECK FOR AN ERRATIC WHEEL SPEED SIGNAL- Clear all DTCs.
- Monitor the wheel speeds while driving at various speeds.
NOTE: When using the NGS to monitor the wheel speed signals, monitor one wheel at a time. The information is recorded faster and the likelihood of diagnosing the faulty signal is greater.
- Does one wheel speed signal drop out while driving or braking?
> Yes
Go to the brake anti-lock sensor diagnosis (Pinpoint Test J) for the affected wheel. J
> No
Repeat the monitoring of the wheel speeds. Intermittent signals may not be recorded the first time. Inspect the sensor indicators and sensor wiring for damage. If damage is found, repair as necessary. If no damage is found, conduct the Intermittent Failures Sensor Failure test for the suspect wheel sensor. Repeat the System Pre-Check.
