This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to include Navigator.
ISSUE:
Cold air may be felt on the floor while in heat mode on some vehicles. This may be caused by the secondary recirc door not sealing.
ACTION:
Replace the secondary recirc door housing. The new housing should improve sealing and reduce the possibility of air leaks. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Verify concern.
2. Remove the A/C plenum following the procedures outlined in Section 412-03A of the appropriate Workshop Manual.
3. Remove the dual door recirc housing.
4. Install the new single door Recirc Housing (F85Z-1 9A61 8-BA).
5. Reinstall A/C plenum following the procedure outlined in Section 412-03A of the Workshop Manual.
