Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Remove the accelerator control splash shield.
1 Remove the accelerator control splash shield bolts.
2 Remove the accelerator control splash shield.





2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.





3. Disconnect the (A) positive crankcase ventilation hose and the (B) idle air control valve inlet tube.





4. Loosen the two air cleaner outlet tube hose clamp screws and remove the air cleaner outlet tube.









INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: The air cleaner outlet tube should be securely sealed to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
