Pinion Angle Inspection - Protractor Method

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
- Normalize the suspension.

NOTE: Use a drive-on hoist or back onto a front end alignment rack.





2. Place the (A) protractor vertical so it is flush against two (B) axle housing cover bolts.
3. Record the pinion angle. If the angle is out of specification, inspect the rear suspension mounting.
