DT3 Check For Marginally High Sensor Gap (at Idle)

DT3 CHECK FOR MARGINALLY HIGH SENSOR GAP

- Connect New Generation Star (NGS) Tester or equivalent.

- Clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

- Key "OFF".

- Start vehicle.

- Transmission in Low 1.

- Allow the vehicle to creep forward at idle for at least 45 seconds.

Does the yellow ABS warning indicator illuminate?

Yes
Go to DT8. DT8 Determine Which Sensor Signal Is Incorrect

No
Go to DT4. DT4 Check For Marginally High Sensor Gap (at 25 MPH)
