A2 CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

- Key "OFF"

- Disconnect parking brake switch.

- Key "ON"

- Does the red brake warning indicator turn on?

> Yes
For vehicles without daytime running lamps go to Pinpoint Test A3. A3

For vehicle equipped with daytime running lamps, go to Pinpoint Test A4. A4

> No
Replace the Parking Brake Switch. Test the system for normal operation.
