G2 Check Valve Coil

G2 CHECK THE VALVE COIL

- Disconnect the 8-pin valve block connector.

- Verify that the terminals on both halves of the valve block 8-way connector are clean and secure.

- Measure the resistance between Pins 1 and 8 and Pins 4 and 8 on the valve block.

Are both readings between 5 and 8 ohms?

> Yes
Remove the ABS power relay. Repair open or short to ground in Circuits 497 (W) and 532 (O/Y) between the valve block harness connector and the ABS control module connector. Install the relay. Go to Pinpoint Test G3. G3 Check If All Steps Have Been Completed

> No
Replace the Hydraulic Control Unit. Go to Pinpoint Test G4. G4 Check For DTC Repeatability
