Vehicle Speed Sensor/Transducer - Cruise Control: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Separate the electrical connector to speed sensor on the automatic transmission/transaxle.

2. Remove retaining bolt or nut.
3. Remove Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
4. Remove drive gear.

INSTALLATION
1. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.

NOTE: Make sure to install drive gear on vehicle speed sensor before installing vehicle speed sensor into transmission.
