Component Testing

1. To check the clutch pedal position switch (CPP) for proper starting function, disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch pedal position switch.

2. Using an ohmmeter, probe Pins 1 and 2 for continuity. The indicator should read OPEN while moving the pedal from a FULL UP position to within approximately 25 mm (1 inch) of FULL TRAVEL. Measurement beyond this point should be a CLOSED reading (0 ohms).
