Master Switch

1. With the switch in the NEUTRAL position, there should be continuity between terminals 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

NOTE: Use a self-powered test lamp or an ohmmeter such as Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 014-00407 or equivalent to test the power window switch.

2. When the ribbed portions of the switch rocker knobs are pushed (to close the windows), there should be continuity between terminals 1, 2, and 3 and terminals 4, 5 and 6.
3. When the flat portions of the switch rocker knobs are pushed (to open the windows), there should be continuity between terminals 1, 3 and 5 and terminals 2, 4 and 6.
4. If the switch assembly does not test, replace the switch.
