C3 - Damaged Module Ground

C3 DAMAGED ANTI-LOCK ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE GROUND

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.

- Set the multimeter on the 200 ohm scale.

- Shake the instrument panel harness while reading the resistance between Pin 4 and chassis ground.

Is the resistance steady and less than 1 ohm?

> Yes
Replace the anti-lock electronic control module. Reconnect the battery ground cable. Repeat the System Precheck.

> No
Repair the poor ground in circuit 530 (BK/W). Reconnect the battery ground cable. Repeat the System Precheck.
