Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Visually inspect the components of the power window system to determine if any of the electrical or mechanical concerns apply:

Mechanical
- Window alignment.
- Window mounting (regulator and bracket).
- Window frame interference.

Electrical
- Blown fuse.
- Damage to wiring harness.
- Loose or corroded connections.
- Damaged switches.

2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
