Cylinder Head Assembly
Tightening Specifications Head Bolts
Install NEW cylinder head retaining bolts and tighten in sequence in four steps:
Step 1: Tighten to
70-90 Nm (52-66 ft. lbs.).
Step 2: Back off all bolts
360 degrees.
Step 3: Tighten to
45-55 Nm (34-40 ft. lbs.).
Step 4: Tighten to
85-99 Nm (63-73 ft. lbs.).
* Over the entire
cylinder head gasket surface.
