Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Rear

At regular intervals, the following rear suspension checks should be made:
1. Check for evidence of fluid leaks on rear shock strut. (A light film of fluid is permissible. Verify fluid is not from other sources.)
2. Check rear shock strut operation.
3. Check condition of upper and lower rear suspension arm bushings and rear suspension tension strut and bushings.
4. Leaking or damaged air spring.
5. Replace any damaged or worn components.
