Level Check

NOTE: Check engine coolant level in the degas bottle at least once a month.

With a cold engine, the engine coolant level must be maintained within the cold fill range.
Coolant Low
If engine coolant level in the degas bottle is less than the above indicated levels, fill degas bottle with a 50/50 mixture of Premium Cooling System Fluid E2FZ-19549-AA or-B in , in Canada, CXC-8-B, Recycled Coolant, or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M97B44-A to the specified levels.

In the event no coolant is observed in the degas bottle or when an engine coolant level change does not occur, check the system.
