Accumulator: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY

1. Disassemble neutral drive accumulator cover springs, piston, and rod. Inspect parts for damage. Service as required.
2. Remove and discard 0-ring seals from neutral drive shift accumulator piston and cover.

ASSEMBLY
1. Install new 0-ring seals on neutral drive shift accumulator piston and cover. Lubricate seals with petroleum jelly.
2. Assemble components in reverse order of Disassembly.
