Flow of Diagnosis

INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the switches to duplicate the condition:
- In RUN without the engine running.
- In START before the ignition switch is released.
- In RUN with the engine running.
2. Inspect to determine if any of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
- Damaged ignition switch.
- Low fluid level (washer system).
Electrical
- Power distribution box fuses:
9FL (60A).
17FL (60A).
7 (60A).
- Fuse junction panel fuses:
Cigar Ltr (20A).
OBDII (10A).
STOP/HAZ (15A).
- Circuit wiring.
- Switches or sending units.

3. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remain after the inspection determine the symptoms and go to diagnosis by symptom.
