Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the stabilizer bar links and bushings from the front lateral arms (one each side).
1 Remove the nut.
2 Remove the nut and bolt.
3 Remove the link.





3. Remove the stabilizer bar bushings (one each side).





4. Detach the right-hand tie bar from the wheel spindle.





5. Remove the stabilizer bar.

INSTALLATION





1. Install the stabilizer bar.





2. Install the right-hand tie bar to the wheel spindle.

NOTE: The final tightening of the rear suspension components must be carried out with the vehicle at ride height.





3. Install the stabilizer bar to the crossmember.
1 Install the bushings.
2 Install the brackets.
3 Tighten the bolts.





4. Install the stabilizer bar links to the front lateral arms (one each side).
