Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the headlamps.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage; refer to the following chart:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Damaged multi-function switch

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s):
^ 10A LH HEAD and
^ 10A RH HEAD
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose, damaged, or corroded connectors
- Blown headlamp bulb

3. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Chart(s)
