Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Relieve the fuel pressure.
2. Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.







3. Remove the fuel injectors.
- Remove the retaining clips.
- Remove the fuel injectors.
4. Inspect the O-rings. Replace them as required.
5. Inspect the fuel injector cap and body. Replace components as required.

INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate the O-rings lightly with Engine Oil XO-10W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-F.

CAUTION: Never use silicone grease. It will clog the fuel injectors.

2. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
