D: Transmission Range (TR)/Manual Lever Position (MLP) Sensor

DTC List:
- P0707, P0705 TR switch or circuit shorted.
- P0708 TR switch or circuit open.
- P1705 TR switch not indicating park (P) during KOEO.

Test Notes
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the Transmission Range (TR) switch electrical system only. To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following areas may be at fault:
- Engine.
- Starter, starter relay.
- Electrical.
- Battery, ignition switch, wiring harnesses.
- Transaxle.
- Internal transmission components, linkages.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following components:
- Transaxle wiring harness, TR switch.
- PCM.
- Starter circuits, backup circuit.
