Instrument Cluster

The instrument cluster contains a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge, oil pressure gauge, voltage indicator gauge, odometer and a trip odometer reset control knob. Warning lamps are provided to alert the driver of possible malfunctions.

The instrument cluster performs a display prove-out to verify that all warning/indicator lamps and monitored systems are functioning properly. When the ignition switch is in the ON position with the engine off, the following indicators will illuminate:
- CHECK ENGINE/Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).
- CHECK GAGE warning indicator.
- Charge system indicator.
- Anti-lock brake (ABS) warning indicator.
- Safety belt warning indicator (60 second prove out).
- Air bag indicator.
