Cross-Member: Service and Repair

TRANSMISSION SUPPORT CROSSMEMBER

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Use the High Lift Transmission Jack to support the (A) transmission. Remove the (B) nuts.

NOTE: The manual transmission is shown; the procedure is the same for the automatic transmission.





3. Remove the heat shield to transmission support crossmember bolts.





4. Remove the six transmission support nuts (three on each side).

NOTE: The LH fasteners are shown, the RH fasteners are similar.

INSTALLATION











1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
