Power Steering Fluid Cooler: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIR SUSPENSION MUST BE SHUT OFF PRIOR TO HOISTING, JACKING OR TOWING AN AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLE. THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED BY TURNING OFF THE AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH LOCATED IN THE RH KICK PANEL AREA. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SHIFTING OF THE VEHICLE DURING THESE OPERATIONS.
2. If equipped, remove the skid plate.
(1) Remove the bolts.
(2) Remove the skid plate.
3. Remove the lower radiator air deflector
(1) Remove the screws.
(2) Remove the push clips.
(3) Remove the lower radiator air deflector.
4. Disconnect the power steering fluid cooler hoses.
(1) Compress and slide the clamps back.
(2) Disconnect the hoses.
5. Remove the power steering fluid cooler.
(1) Remove the bolts.
(2) Remove the fluid cooler.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Fill and leak check the system.
