Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the fuel charging wiring electrical connectors from the ignition coil.







2. Disconnect the spark plug wires by squeezing the locking tabs and twisting while pulling upward.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the spark plug wire as it may separate from the spark plug wire connector inside the spark plug wire boot.







3. Remove the four bolts and the ignition coil.
4. Wipe the ignition coil towers with a clean cloth dampened with soap and water.







INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.









2. Plug wire to coil
