Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the headlamp switch. To duplicate the condition, place the headlamp switch in the PARK position and rotate the panel dimmer switch fully up without turning on the courtesy lamps.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged headlamp switch.
^ Damaged panel dimmer switch.

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s).
- Blown bulb(s).
- Loose or corroded connections.
- Damaged wiring harness.
