Roof Sliding Panel Opening Shield

REMOVAL
1. Remove the roof opening panel.







2. Remove the water channel.
1. Remove the two screws.
2. Remove the water channel.







3. Slide the opening shield forward halfway.







4. Disengage the opening shield spring loaded guide feet.
1. Push the opening shield toward one side of the vehicle.
2. Lift the front portion of the opening shield upward to disengage the spring loaded guide feet.







5. Once the opening shield is slide forward and the front guide feet are released, repeat the process for the rear guide feet.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When installing the water channel, make sure that the water channel is seated on the locking clips. Also, the LH water channel screw must be installed first.
