Removal

CAUTION: Do not mix Standard (green) Coolant with Extended Life Coolant (orange). If Mixing occurs, drain engine cooling system and refill with originally equipped coolant type. If this contamination occurs the service change interval on Extended Life Coolant will be reduced from 6 years/150,000 miles to 3 years/30,000 miles.

1. Partially drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.





3. Slide the hose clamp back and disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator inlet.





4. Slide the hose clamp back and remove the upper radiator hose from the water hose connection.

Installation





1. Slide the upper radiator hose over the water hose connection and position the clamp.





2. Slide the hose over the radiator inlet and position the clamp.
3. Install the air cleaner outlet tube.
4. Fill the cooling system.
5. Check the cooling system for leaks.
