Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Removal

WARNING: Do not attempt to straighten or repair the fan blade. Replace the fan if damaged.

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.





2. NOTE: The fan shroud cannot be removed without removing the fan blade.

Use the Fan Clutch Wrench and the Fan Hub Wrench to loosen and remove the fan blade.





3. Remove the bolts.





4. Lift the fan shroud out of the lower retaining clips.





5. Lift the fan shroud and the fan blade and clutch assembly together and remove from vehicle.

Installation








1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
