Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the valve covers.





2. NOTE: Mark each camshaft roller follower to ensure its original position during reassembly.

Remove the camshaft roller followers.
1 Use the Valve Spring Compressor to compress the valve spring.
2 Remove the camshaft roller followers.

Installation





1. NOTE: Lubricate the parts with Super Premium SAE 5W30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G prior to installing.

Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
