Left Side

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Remove the two bolts.
4. Lower the vehicle.





5. Disconnect the hoses from the Differential Pressure Feedback (DPFE) system ports.





6. Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube from the exhaust manifold.





7. Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube from the EGR valve (EGR valve) and remove the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.





8. Remove the nuts and the LH exhaust manifold and exhaust manifold gasket.

Installation





1. NOTE: Use new exhaust manifold gaskets and nuts.

Position the LH exhaust manifold gasket and exhaust manifold and install the nuts.





2. Position and install the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to the exhaust manifold.





3. Connect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to the EGR valve.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.





5. Install the bolts.
6. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the battery ground cable.
