OVERVIEW

This document details the procedure for installing an Important Engine Information (IEI) label onto the affected vehicle.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. The IEI label is to be installed on the passenger side valve cover. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the area shown in Figure 1.

2. Using isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth, clean the area and allow it to dry.

3. Remove the backing material from the new label and apply the label to the area specified.

4. Smooth the label as you apply it to remove bubbles or wrinkles.
