Installation

1. Position the transmission on the high lift jack.
2. Raise and position the transmission.





3. Install the engine-to-transmission bolts.





4. Install the transmission mount.
1 Position the transmission mount.
2 Install the bolts.





5. Install the crossmember and the LH bolts and nuts.





6. Install the RH bolts and nuts.





7. Install the transmission mount nuts.
8. Remove the transmission jack.





9. Install the clutch slave cylinder.





10. On 4-wheel drive vehicles, install the transfer case.





11. Install the driveshaft.





12. Connect the electrical connector.





13. Install the gearshift lever assembly.





14. Install the four screws.
15. Lower the vehicle.
16. Connect the battery ground cable.
17. If drained, fill the transmission with the specified fluid.
